Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cutter Operator or Folder Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating precision cutting and folding equipment to produce high-quality printed materials and packaging products. The ideal candidate will have experience in print production processes, a keen eye for detail, and familiarity with various printing and manufacturing technologies. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where quality and efficiency are paramount.

Duties

Operate cutting machines, folders, and related equipment to accurately cut, fold, and finish printed materials according to specifications Set up machinery, adjust settings, and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance Perform quality control checks on finished products to meet quality standards Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and cleaning Interpret job orders or layout designs to ensure precise execution Collaborate with prepress and graphic design teams to ensure layout consistency Assist with material handling using forklifts (will train and certify) or other machinery as needed Monitor production processes for efficiency and safety compliance Document production data and report any discrepancies or issues

Skills

Experience with printing, prepress layouts. Ability to operate forklift (will train and certify) or pallet jacks safely and efficiently in a manufacturing setting Strong understanding of quality control procedures and standards Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision in cutting and folding operations Good problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
