Job Description

Seeking a Customs Entry Specialist to support its operations. This role involves preparing and submitting accurate customs documentation, ensuring full compliance with U.S. Customs regulations, and maintaining clear communication internally and with customers and government agencies.

Position Overview

The Customs Entry Specialist is responsible for preparing and submitting accurate import documentation in compliance with U.S. Customs regulations. This includes classifying goods using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS), coordinating with customs brokers and government agencies, and communicating with clients to ensure all necessary documents are complete and accurate. The role involves preparing and transmitting CBP Form 7501 entries through ACE, monitoring shipments for timely clearance, tracking shipments and resolving clearance issues such as customs holds or exams, and maintaining organized records in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Customs Broker License is required

2+ years of entry writing experience working under the supervision of a Customs Broker.

Proficiency in using customs software (e.g., Descartes, CustomsNow, or equivalent) required.

Comprehensive understanding of U.S. Customs regulations, HTS classification, and import documentation.

Experience with FDA/USDA-regulated shipments preferred

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Capable of working independently and collaboratively.

Ability to multitask and strong communication skills (Both written and verbal)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.44 - $32.21 per hour
