Overview

We are seeking a Customer Service/Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent customer service skills, and a willingness to learn and be a part of a growing company. This job will require lifting, unloading and loading trucks and working outside from time to time so applicants should be comfortable lifting heavy items and doing a variaty of tasks throughout the day. No experience is necessary; we are just looking for someone with an open mind and willingness to learn and grow.

We expect all of our sales and customer service team to know and understand all of the aspects of what we do. This means you will be trained on delivery and installation of appliances and furniture and asked to go on delivery from time to time when schedules demand that.

This position will be Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm and Saturdays 9am - 3pm, with a day off during the week.

Required Skills:

- Experience in retail sales or customer service preferred but not required

- Proficiency in POS systems

- Strong communication skills in English

- Basic math skills for handling transactions

- The ability to lift heavy items 50+ lbs on a daily basis.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Knowledge of appliances and Furniture

- Previous experience in technical sales

- Ability to manage time effectively to prioritize tasks

Duties

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner

- Learn and understand the products we sell in order to provide product information and recommendations to customers

- Learn and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately

- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor

- Help with the loading customers and unloading of trucks, stocking the showroom floor, and preparing deliveries.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
