Your proactive approach will help boost sales through effective upselling and merchandising strategies, creating a lively and welcoming environment for all shoppers. Whether handling transactions at the POS (Point of Sale) system or guiding customers through product features, your contribution will be vital to our store's success.

Duties



Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to foster loyalty and satisfaction Assist customers in selecting products, offering detailed product demos and answering questions confidently Operate POS systems efficiently for cash handling, cashiering, and processing transactions accurately Upsell relevant products by understanding customer needs and highlighting benefits to increase sales Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts to enhance store appeal Manage inventory levels by stocking shelves, organizing products, and conducting stock checks regularly Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support retail sales initiatives by promoting special offers, new arrivals, and seasonal promotions Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations and excellent customer experiences

Experience



Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially within the outdoor power equipment or automotive industry Familiarity with cash handling procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings or training new staff Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently and clearly Experience in product demos, upselling techniques, merchandising, and stock management is advantageous Knowledge of phone etiquette standards ensures professional interactions both in-person and over the phone

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
