Customer Service Representative (CSR)

to be the first point of contact for patients in need of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and supplies. This role is the heartbeat of our operations -- balancing compassion, accuracy, and efficiency to ensure patients receive the equipment they need when they need it.

Responsibilities:

Answer incoming calls with professionalism and empathy, identifying customer needs and providing effective solutions. Process DME and supply orders received by phone, fax, mail, or in person. Accurately enter new and updated patient information into the database, including demographics, insurance, and physician details. Verify insurance coverage and patient diagnosis to qualify orders. Coordinate delivery schedules and communicate with patients, caregivers, and internal teams. Assist with inventory checks and equipment ordering as needed. Participate in on-call rotation to support after-hours patient needs.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in customer service Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. Solid computer and multitasking skills. Familiarity with DME, medical billing, or healthcare terminology is a plus.
