Position Summary

Grupo Estrella is seeking a

Customer Service Representative

to join our Mayaguez location. In this role, you will assist clients seeking financial products by offering guidance on loan solutions that best meet their needs. You will act as the primary liaison for customer inquiries, resolve issues with accuracy and efficiency, and ensure a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Manage loan applications and financial transactions in compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations. Deliver timely and high-quality customer service. Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate loan solutions. Handle the entire loan process from application to disbursement. Provide accurate and complete information using approved methods and tools. Process documentation, conduct verification calls, and manage collections when needed. Handle payments (cash, check, and card) with accuracy. Resolve customer complaints by providing appropriate solutions and ensuring follow-up. Maintain records of customer interactions. Promote and cross-sell company products; support marketing campaigns to grow the client base. Uphold the company brand and maintain a professional office environment. Follow all communication procedures, guidelines, and security policies.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of customer service and/or sales experience. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Customer- and sales-oriented mindset. Availability to work flexible retail hours, including weekdays and Saturdays (rotating schedule). Reliable transportation and ability to travel as needed. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent education and experience).

Skills

Cash handling accuracy. Proficiency with office equipment (printers, scanners, tablets). Knowledge of Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Slides, Sheets). Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Bilingual in Spanish and English.
