Suffolk Administrative Services, LLC is searching for a Customer Service Representative to join our team.
Role and Responsibilities:
Interact with our members and participants via inbound and outbound telephone calls, chat and/or e-mail to answer benefit, claim and insurance related questions and provide information about plans and services.
Enroll participants in their selected benefit plans.
Educate callers on the different plans and benefits available to them.
Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken in tracking tools provided.
Ensure that appropriate actions were taken in a timely manner to resolve customers' problems.
Refer unresolved customer inquiries to designated teams for further investigation.
Demonstrate a "can do" attitude to ensure client satisfaction and to support key company initiatives.
Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Active listening.
Fluent in Spanish and English (written and oral).
Ability to effectively communicate information via phone, chat and e-mail.
Service orientation of actively looking for ways to understand and help people.
Ability and desire to work in a rapidly-changing, not highly structured environment.
Open to learning with ability to adapt to fast paced changes.
Prior experience working directly with customers in some capacity.
Desire to learn.
Ability to consistently and enthusiastically create an outstanding customer experience.
Knowledge of health insurance and/or employee benefits a plus.
