Employment Type: Full-time, hourly (33-40 hrs)

Schedule: 6:00-6:00 or 7:00-7:00, 12 hour shifts, some weekends & holidays

Position Overview:

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, ensuring they receive the highest level of service while navigating their pet's healthcare needs. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our commitment to excellence in client care.

Responsibilities

Greet clients and makes initial patient intake by entering accurate client information into EMR. Communicates with clients and referring veterinarians on patient forms and authorizations, payment policies, and setting appointments. Manage incoming calls and provide accurate information about hospital services. Handle client concerns with empathy and professionalism, ensuring a positive experience. Collects payments, issues receipts and reconciles daily accounts receivable activity to prepare for daily deposits. Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care. Assists other departments with general administration duties Ensures cleanliness of the lobby and exam rooms.

Requirements

Proven experience in customer service or client-facing roles, preferably in a veterinary or medical setting. Excellent phone etiquette and strong verbal communication skills. Ability to remain calm and focused in stressful and emotional situations Proficient in using Microsoft Office software and CRM, ERP or EMR Ability to work 12 hour shifts including some weekends and holidays
