ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



Welcome customers and assist in their banking needs; answer basic customer inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations and consumer privacy policies Receiving checking and savings deposits and issue receipts Verify cash and endorsements Receive proper identification Examine checks deposited and determine proper funds availability based on regulation requirements and complete Hold Notices Process savings withdrawals Cash checks and related transactions, receive proper identification and ensure validity Identify counterfeit currency Travel if necessary to other offices if needed to back-fill for absent tellers Cross-sell bank products and services Refer customers to proper department, as needed Accept loan payments; verify payment amount and issue receipts Buy and sell currency from the vault as necessary, ensuring that teller draw cash limits are not exceeded Balance drawer daily, including periodic batching of cashed checks Process cash advances, redeem U.S. Savings Bonds Maintain appropriate currency logs Follow all bank policies and compliant procedures Maintains customer confidence and protects bank operations by keeping information confidential

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:



High school diploma or GED or equivalent at minimum 1 year of consecutive customer service experience in financial services or retail sales. Banking experience preferred. Cash handling or sales experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
