We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. This Customer Service Representative (CSR) is the first point of contact for customers seeking plumbing and HVAC services. This role is responsible for managing incoming service requests, scheduling appointments, providing excellent customer support, and coordinating with field technicians to ensure efficient, timely service. The ideal candidate combines strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a customer-focused mindset to enhance the overall client experience.
Responsibilities
Service as the primary point of contact for customers via phone, email, and in-person inquiries.
Schedule and coordinate service appointments for plumbing and HVAC technicians.
Communicate service details, pricing, and timelines to customers clearly and professionally.
Handle service requests, complains, and follow-ups in a courteous and timely manner.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service requests, and appointments in company systems.
Support billing and payment processes, including generating invoices and processing payments when necessary.
Coordinate with field technicians to ensure all work orders are completed efficiently.
Provide information on company services, promotions, and maintenance programs.
Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, documentation, and reporting, as needed.
Qualifications
Previous customer service experience, preferably in plumbing, HVAC, or related industries.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
Sales experience is a plus, demonstrating an ability to promote products or services effectively.
Ability to remain professional and calm in high-pressure or challenging situations.
Basic understanding of plumbing and HVAC systems is a plus but not required.
