We are looking for a Customer Service Rep to handle incoming helpline calls and perform clerical functions. This position will be full-time and onsite.
What You'll Do
Answer incoming 800 helpline calls and record on Client Contact forms
Forward calls to available volunteer counselors or provide assistance when volunteers are unavailable
Complete daily data entry, including Client Contacts
Manage labels and mailings for information packets, assemble packets, and make copies of SHIP information as needed
Inform the Office Manager when supplies are low and put away deliveries in an orderly manner
Maintain a neat and orderly work area, recycling unwanted paper and boxes.
Take voice mail messages for packet requests twice a day and forward call back messages to Volunteer Supervisors
Assemble new counselor training materials and other requested training materials
Prepare presentation materials and supplies as requested by Volunteer Supervisors, Counselors, or SHIP Local Sites
Perform other duties as assigned by the Office Manager, including special mailings/emails, 800 message recordings, updating lists, etc.
What You'll Need
Required:
Ability to perform standardized tasks and complete trainings
Effective communication skills for telephone interactions, keeping consistent with agency policies and laws
Accuracy in providing information to callers and completing tasks in a timely manner
Responsibility for maintaining accurate records, files, forms, reports, and technical information
Ability to manage personal work relationships with office staff, supervisors, the public, and department representatives at local and state levels for relaying information and making referrals
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
The pay rate for this position is $14.17 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave as provided by applicable law.?
