Job Description

Laguna Tools is an award-winning leading manufacturer of woodworking and CNC machines. We are looking for career-minded Customer Service Technician with interest in woodworking tools and CNC Machines. This is an ideal position for an individual with a mechanical aptitude for learning machinery.

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using an excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and services, as well as communicating effectively with team members within the company. Your typical day will consist of speaking with customers who have purchased machines from the company and need technical service help.

This position is in an office setting.

Provide professional support via phone and e-mail to customers. Provide timely and accurate information on incoming customer inquiries and product knowledge requests. Complete all documentation required for call and service.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

High volume of call center experience. Minimum of two years troubleshooting experience in a Customer Service or production environment. Strong phone customer service skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good experience in reading manuals and blueprints preferred. Analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability to deal with customers in a positive, calm manner. Computer literate and excellent written communication. Bilingual preferred. Detail oriented and organized. Ability to prioritize tasks and 100% follow through. Great attitude and 100% accountable. Personable and positive attitude. Ability to thrive in an environment that is less structured than larger companies. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Teamwork oriented. Must be able to provide excellent reference.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines.
