We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling transactions. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment, assisting customers with their needs, and ensuring smooth operations at the cash register.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services. Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision. Upsell products and services to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Maintain an organized and clean checkout area. Stock shelves and ensure product displays are appealing and well-maintained. Supervise junior staff when necessary, providing guidance and support. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism. Utilize effective phone etiquette when answering customer calls.

Requirements:

21+ years of age (legal requirement for handling alcohol) High school diploma or equivalent Basic math skills and cash handling experience Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Excellent customer service skills Flexible availability including evenings and weekends Previous retail experience preferred

Pay: $15.49 - $20.00 per hour
