Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional customer service associate to join our pharmacy team. You will be the first point of contact for our customers--helping them with prescriptions, over-the-counter products, and other general inquiries to ensure a smooth, welcoming, and efficient pharmacy experience for every customer. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop customer service skills while contributing to the overall success of our pharmacy.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service in person and over the phone Assist customers with prescription drop-off and pick-up, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality Process transactions using the pharmacy's point-of-sale (POS) system, including cash handling and insurance co-payments Answer phone calls, handle refill requests, and direct calls to pharmacists or technicians as needed Help customers locate over-the-counter medications and other health-related products Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked front-end area of the pharmacy Support pharmacy staff with clerical duties such as filing, labeling, and restocking shelves Monitor inventory levels and assist with receiving deliveries and checking in merchandise Uphold patient privacy and follow all HIPAA regulations and company policies Ensure the store environment is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times

Requirements

Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette Ability to perform basic math, retail math, and cash handling accurately Ability to work effectively in a team environment with good interpersonal skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Base Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
