Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and your attention to detail will be essential in maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries. Process customer transactions accurately using a cash register. Handle cash and credit transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and promote additional products. Maintain an organized and stocked checkout area, ensuring products are readily available for customers. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits. Assist in supervising junior staff members, providing guidance as needed. Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.

Experience

Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is preferred. Strong cash handling skills with a solid understanding of basic math and retail math principles. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with product demos is a plus, showcasing your ability to engage customers effectively. A team player attitude with a willingness to assist colleagues as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.13 - $14.00 per hour
