Job Summary
The Customer Operator Trainer will provide training to customers for forklift operator and other powered industrial vehicle operators. The Customer Operator Trainer will coordinate scheduling and classes with customers to meet their OSHA certification training requirements.
General Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct operator & safety training classes, including Train the Trainer (i.e. forklift, tuggers, aerial lift, skid steer, & scissor lift) in house or at customer locations
• Assure that all training tools and materials are available for scheduled classes
• Assist in developing training aids
• Assist all ProLift locations in matters concerning operator safety
• Promote ProLift Toyota Material Handling\xe2\x80\x99s philosophies, vision, strategies and value of \xe2\x80\x9cDoing the Right Thing\xe2\x80\x9d; Promote the TLM \xe2\x80\x9cToyota Lean Management\xe2\x80\x9d philosophy

Educational/Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, knowledge of OSHA PIV regulations and training standards, two years\xe2\x80\x99 experience training to the OSHA forklift certification standard. and display efficiency in Microsoft products such as Word, Outlook, and Excel. This job will require 75% travel with overnight stays at times. The Customer Operator Trainer communicates to customers and sales teams, which require excellent verbal and written communication skills with a particular emphasis on listening skills. The ideal candidate will protect the organization\xe2\x80\x99s values by maintaining confidential information utilizing their ability to handle sensitive information.
