Drive your career forward, with this opportunity as a Customer Integration Engineer located in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Customer Integration Engineer will be the liaison between ATI and the OEM for Allison product integration. This includes hardware, controls, design, quality, and all related engineering topics. This person will also assist in projects that pertain to project management, marketing and sales, manufacturing, and quality.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the integration of ATI\'s product programs at the customer\'s site

a. Assist in transmission product development as it pertains to vehicle and engine integration

b. Assist in e-Axle development as it pertains to vehicle, suspension, and brake integration.

c. Convey ATI\'s design requirements to the customer per tech data

d. Chair and/or attend customer meetings as ATIs engineering representative

e. Provide product training to customers engineering and manufacturing teams

f. Diagnose and solve vehicle/transmission/system issues at customer engineering and manufacturing facilities

2. Communicate customer design direction and changes to the ATI engineering and business teams

a. Facilitate the transfer of specifications, change requests, roll out plans, and software tools between the customer and ATI

b. Forward information on customer activities relevant to ATIs interests

c. Interact with the customer\'s various engineering organizations to provide feedback on ways to improve the ATI products in customer vehicles

1) Submit improvements through the Allison business systems

3. Travel periodically to support ATI programs (training, factory support, and ATI and customer events)

4. This role will involve both conventional and EV type truck releases.

Educational Qualifications Required:

BSME, BSEE, or equivalent

Candidate Qualifications Required:

1. At least 5 years automotive or commercial vehicle experience

2. Proficiency in written and spoken English

3. Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)

4. Ability to communicate technical issues to varied audiences (engineering & marketing discussions)

5. Targets and achieves results, sets challenging goals, prioritizes tasks, provides leadership/motivation

6. Mechanical proficiency or background knowledge of automatic transmissions

7. Travel requirement

e. Electrical systems

f. On Board Diagnostics understanding

g. Green House Gas understanding
