Front Desk Receptionist

The Story:

Protective Insurance Agency is a family-owned business in beautiful Cache Valley, Utah. The company was founded in 1994 by Jon Museus. Jon was known for his witty and cheery personality. He was an easy-going, fun-loving guy and that personality resonated with his customers. Jon enjoyed working with his daughters, whom he trained to sell insurance while they attended school. In 2003, Jon was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident, leaving the business to his wife, Jan. The knowledge their daughters combined with Jan's business expertise, allowed the company to continue and grow into what it is today. Now 20 years later, Protective Insurance is a trusted source for insurance in the community. Their customers still rave about the amazing people and culture they interact with when they need insurance help.

We are seeking a front desk receptionist to join our family team. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, and/or insurance related background.

Responsibilities:

- Answer phones and greet customers coming in

- Assist customers with their insurance needs

- Provide excellent customer service

- Process insurance payments

- Remind customers of their payments that are past due

- Processing proof of insurance for customers

Skills:

- Excellent communication skills

- Strong organizational skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Attention to detail

- Proficient in Microsoft Office
