About the Role



The Customer Counsel will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. This role requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to support customers throughout the project lifecycle.

Duties



Provide comprehensive legal advice on various practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, litigation, and patent law. Conduct thorough legal research utilizing tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and legal analysis. Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents, contracts, and agreements with precision and clarity. Manage litigation processes from inception through resolution by coordinating with external counsel when necessary and overseeing case strategy. Advise on regulatory compliance issues across multiple jurisdictions and assist in developing internal policies aligned with current laws. Support the organization's legal administrative functions by maintaining accurate records of case files, correspondence, and legal documentation. Collaborate with internal teams to identify potential legal risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies. Stay informed about updates in relevant laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance and best practices within the firm's operations. Utilize legal research platforms such as Westlaw for case law analysis and LexisNexis for comprehensive legal information gathering. Contribute to the development of training materials or seminars to enhance staff understanding of pertinent legal issues.

Qualifications



Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the bar in relevant jurisdiction(s). Proven experience practicing in multiple areas including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, litigation, and patent law. Strong research skills with proficiency in LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms. Excellent legal drafting abilities with attention to detail and clarity. Demonstrated negotiation skills capable of handling complex agreements and dispute resolutions effectively. Experience managing litigation cases from start to finish while coordinating with external counsel as needed. Knowledge of relevant laws governing securities regulation, environmental protections, intellectual property (patent law), labor laws including workers' compensation laws, and tribal regulations. Familiarity with legal administrative processes including case management systems and documentation protocols. Exceptional writing skills for preparing memos, briefs, contracts, and other legal documents. Ability to conduct thorough research independently while working collaboratively within a team environment. Pay: $1,345.65 - $1,500.14 per week
