Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Custom Inset Cabinetry Maker to join our cabinetry team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking, cabinetry fabrication, and precise craftsmanship. This role involves creating high-quality inset cabinets tailored to client specifications, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal and working with difference materials - HDF, paint grade wood, quarter sawn oak, rift white oak, walnut, etc.

Responsibilities

Interpret 3D renderings, schematics, and detailed drawings to accurately fabricate inset cabinetry components. Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble cabinet parts. Measure and mark materials precisely for accurate cuts and assembly. Perform heavy lifting of materials and finished products safely and efficiently. Assemble cabinetry with attention to detail, ensuring proper fit and finish. Conduct quality inspections throughout the fabrication process to meet design specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety standards. Collaborate with team members on project timelines and production goals. Assist with installation of cabinets on-site, including fixture installation and door hanging when required. Installation not required for this position, but can be.

Skills

Extensive experience in woodworking, cabinetry fabrication, or related construction trades. Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and other fabrication equipment. Knowledge of construction estimating, framing, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and remodeling is a plus. Experience with construction site safety protocols and industry standards. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Familiarity with restoration processes such as water damage restoration or mold remediation is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship skills in cabinet installation and finishing touches like caulking and fixture installation. Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and understanding complex project requirements. This position requires a dedicated professional with hands-on experience in custom cabinetry or related construction fields who takes pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship tailored to client needs.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
