Position Overview:

Noble High School is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented 2nd Shift Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming learning environment for students, staff, and the community. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, communicates well, and is committed to supporting the overall operations of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform daily cleaning of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and common areas

- Empty trash and recycling receptacles and replace liners

- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors and surfaces

- Monitor and restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper

- Secure the building at the end of the shift (lock doors, shut off lights, etc.)

- Assist with event setup and breakdown as needed

- Respond to cleaning or maintenance needs as requested by staff or administration

- Perform basic maintenance and report any safety concerns or repairs

- Follow all district safety, cleaning, and confidentiality protocols

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

- Previous custodial or maintenance experience preferred, but not required

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand/walk for long periods, and perform physical labor

- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Must pass a background check and meet all school district employment requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.68 - $25.11 per hour
