RATES STARTING AT $20.00-$22.00/hour (based on experience)

SCHEDULE:

Monday through Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm with occasional overtime

POSITION SCOPE/SUMMARY:



This position is responsible for cleaning, restocking, performing sanitizing and cleaning activities throughout the facility, organizing all maintenance areas in the facility, including but not limited to the warehouse, employee restrooms, kitchen areas, and offices.



ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



Clean offices, restrooms, break rooms, locker areas, outdoor break areas, and shop floors. Restocking supplies, cleaning and sanitizing toilets, sinks and surfaces, cleaning windows and mirrors, dusting, cleaning drink dispensers, microwaves, and floor care. Restroom cleaning; a deep clean upon arrival and a porter service before leaving for the day. A rotating schedule will be provided for specialty cleaning of cleanrooms and production room areas. Perform sanitizing and cleaning activities throughout the facility. Mopping, spraying, wiping, sweeping, vacuuming, step ladder work, lifting and organizing chemicals & supplies. Empty and remove trash containers. Responsible for emptying and removing recycling containers throughout the facility including clean room spaces. Perform floor care, carpet cleaning, scrubbing, buffing, striping and waxing. Perform basic maintenance duties and repair work, bathroom fixtures, painting, hanging posters, changing light bulbs, etc. Perform drain cleaning as needed. Maintain restroom fixtures as needed. Responsible to observe department's safety regulations and to use personnel protective equipment as required. Responsible to adhere to plant policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Must maintain a good attendance record. Performs other facility related duties as necessary. Stand on a continuous basis and walk on a frequent basis during the course of each shift. Stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and stretching as necessary. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Able to perform repetitive tasks. Able to operate floor care equipment, scrubber, buffer, etc. Must have a minimum of one-year experience in a healthcare, food service or Manufacturing setting. Self-driven and able to work without direct supervision. Experience in floor care, stripping, waxing, buffing and chemicals used. Experience in basic maintenance and repairs (bathroom fixtures, painting, hanging posters, etc.) Ability to take on tasks, independently, in order to keep facility in proper condition. Must be able to read and understand documentation, fill out forms and communicate with supervisors. Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks. Individual must be able to perform each essential duty safely and satisfactorily. Must be able to read and understand documentation, fill out forms and communicate with supervisors.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

0-1 years' experience in a fast-paced healthcare, food service, or manufacturing work environment with janitorial or custodial duties. Experience in basic maintenance and repairs. High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Other: Provide overtime coverage for alternate shifts or weekends as required.
