Your role will be pivotal in creating clean, safe, and inviting environments that support the well-being of all building staff and visitors. Key Responsibilities

Execute comprehensive janitorial duties, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all surfaces to the highest standards. Thoroughly clean and disinfect high-traffic areas such as restrooms and kitchens/break rooms; monitor and restock supplies (e.g., soap, paper products, trash liners) while managing inventory efficiently. Empty waste containers, separate recyclables, and dispose of trash in designated outdoor receptacles. Respond promptly to spills, accidents, or hazards, deploying floor signs and barriers to ensure safety. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly tasks on time, with precision and minimal disruption to operations. Carry out semi-annual deep cleaning tasks and special projects. Proactively identify and respond to issues to keep facilities in optimal condition. Collaborate with supervisor on ad-hoc duties, adapting to evolving facility requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

Demonstrated experience in janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning roles. Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is essential. Proficiency in the use of cleaning chemicals per OSHA and manufacturer safety guidelines. Prior experience as a porter or in facilities maintenance is a plus. Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for travel to one or more designated sites. Ability to lift and carry 25-50 lbs, climb stairs, and walk on a regular basis. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to read, communicate, and follow oral and written instructions in English. Clean background check and fingerprint clearance required.

Advanced expertise in floor maintenance, including buffing, stripping, and waxing VCT flooring; carpet cleaning and shampooing. Capabilities in power washing and exterior window cleaning. Experience with post-construction cleanup. Specialized response for emergencies like flood or sewage backup cleanup.
