Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our facilities. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all employees and visitors.

Hours:

1.5 hours/day

Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays after 5:00pm

Pay: $17.25 per clean

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to ensure all areas are clean and well-maintained. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, and waxing as needed to keep surfaces in optimal condition. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and ensuring sanitary conditions. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment. Carry out industrial cleaning duties in designated areas, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Respond promptly to cleaning requests and emergencies as they arise. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high standards of cleanliness across the facility.

Skills

Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred. Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance of various flooring types. Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. A proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean environment for both staff and visitors.
