Duties & Responsibilities:

Clean/sanitize desk/table tops, door handles, restroom fixtures
Cleans glass
Dusts horizontal surfaces, clocks, overhead screens, and blinds
Wet mopping of floors, spot cleaning of carpets and hard flooring
Assists with deep cleaning during break periods--stripping, scrub & recoat, carpet extraction, cleaning restrooms, glass, and furniture
Trash removal
Removes snow
Minor grounds keeping
Lawn mowing
Assists with delivery of supplies
Properly maintains equipment
Reports maintenance issues to Head and Lead custodians
Performs other duties as assigned

In addition to these specific qualifications this person must meet all the general qualifications as listed in the "lead custodian" job description of the Davenport Community School District as posted on the district web site.
