OBJECTIVE: To maintain the school building in order to provide students and staff with a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient place in which to teach, learn, play, and develop. QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Have the necessary aptitudes for work, i.e., self-starter, needs a minimum of direction or supervision
Knowledge of cleaning methods and the use, care and safety of cleaning materials and equipment
Knowledge of requirements for maintaining school buildings in a safe, clean, and orderly condition
Three years of experience working with students and public is desirable but not required
Ability to pass a Criminal Background/Fingerprint check ($66 cost to employee taken out of first paycheck)
Must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccine or a medical or religious exemption form
START DATE: July 1, 2023 WAGES: 2023/24 Salary Schedule TBD- DOE and per OSEA Agreement (2022/23 Pay Scale-$16.46-$18.17/hr). BENEFITS:
