The

Curriculum Operations Manager

monitors, creates and maintains the college's program and course catalog, oversees the compilation of course offerings by department and contributes to the college curriculum process.




Essential Job Functions


Works with Instructional Deans and the Office of the Provost to lead the college curriculum process from concept through approvals encompassing credit and non-credit offerings, including collaboration with sponsoring faculty and related departments. Processes documentation and reviews and recommends updates to processes and procedures including maintaining and leading the usage of student information system and college catalog and course scheduling software. Maintains general academic offering guidelines and grids, meta-analytics, program pathway maps and master syllabi for new and continuing courses in alignment with program requirements and state and federal regulatory and accreditation requirements. Creates and maintains course and program information in multiple software systems, assigns appropriate codes and program course prerequisites and maintains consistent taxonomy for credit and non credit courses. Assists with monitoring curriculum changes that require accreditation notification and/or approval. Reviews course schedules and listings and analyzes and determines appropriate room use and inventory in collaboration with instructional operations. Reviews consistency of course strategy and credit hours and develops or delegates the development of meta-level schedule prep. Assists with and ensures timely creation, alteration, and inactivation of curriculums in conjunction with faculty and key stakeholders, updates and maintains master syllabi file and serves as the primary repository for the college's historical record of credit and non-credit courses and board-approved programs. Collaborates to create, prepare and upload the academic calendar into the student information system including module action dates and the academic class schedule for student registration and conducts audits to ensure regulatory compliance. Prepares, edits and publishes college schedule and electronic college catalog including academic maps and transfer program guides and serves as administrator of catalog management system software for electronic publication. Oversees the functional use of electronic degree audit and academic planning tools. Supports, recommends and participates in articulation processes.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other personnel and the public.


Minimum Qualifications:


Appropriate education, training, experience and talents are required. An example of this would be a bachelors degree in a related field and four (4) years of experience.
