Position Summary

Front Row Management Services is seeking an experienced

Operations Supervisor

to provide leadership, direction, and oversight for daily airport curbside operations. This management-level role is responsible for supervising frontline agents and shift supervisors, ensuring operational efficiency, service excellence, and compliance with all airport and company policies.



The Operations Supervisor serves as a critical liaison between airport leadership, Project Management, and frontline staff. This position requires a proactive, solutions-driven leader who excels in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong decision-making capabilities, and consistently upholds the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and customer service.



The ideal candidate is an effective communicator, coach, and motivator who brings experience managing teams, enforcing policy, developing staff, and ensuring operational readiness across multiple work areas.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Operational Oversight




Lead and manage daily airport curbside operations, ensuring staffing, equipment, and resources meet service standards. Provide direct supervision to curbside agents and shift supervisors, ensuring accountability and consistent performance. Collaborate with Airport Directors of Ground Transportation (or designees) to maintain program excellence and resolve operational challenges. Conduct daily operational rounds across the Central Passenger Terminal Complex and International Terminal to evaluate performance and appearance.

Personnel Leadership & Performance Management




Ensure all staff are properly uniformed with visibly displayed security badges before reporting to duty. Conduct shift inspections, verify staffing assignments, and ensure full coverage of operational posts. Coach, mentor, and develop staff; provide ongoing feedback and support skill development. Review and approve corrective or disciplinary actions in coordination with the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager. Maintain accurate documentation of employee performance, attendance issues, and coaching sessions.

Timekeeping & Compliance




Oversee timekeeping processes for all employees, ensuring accurate use of clock-in, meal breaks, and clock-out procedures. Ensure employee schedules are aligned with operational needs and budgetary considerations. Enforce compliance with airport regulations, company policies, safety standards, and federal/state labor requirements.

Customer & Partner Relations




Build and maintain strong working relationships with airport management, airline partners, and internal stakeholders. Respond to customer concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring positive resolution and service recovery. Identify discrepancies in ground transportation service and lead corrective measures.

Administrative & Project Responsibilities




Complete daily operational reports and submit timely updates on program-related matters. Assist in developing project scopes, resource planning, and scheduling logistics. Utilize scheduling and project management software to coordinate staff assignments and operational workflow. Ensure the training program complies with all applicable rules, laws, security directives, and airport standards. Manage and maintain accountability for all operational equipment and assets.

Additional Requirements




Must be able to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. May be assigned additional responsibilities by the Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager.

Prior supervisor or management experience is mandatory.*
Demonstrated success leading teams in fast-paced or service-focused environments. Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to exercise sound judgment and problem-solving under pressure. Competence using scheduling software, reporting tools, and basic office technology.

Work Environment

Position is located outdoors at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Exposure to extreme temperatures, weather conditions, and high-noise areas is expected. Fast-paced airport environment requiring continuous movement and frequent interaction with the public.

Physical Demands


====================


Regular standing and walking for up to 7.5 hours per shift. Frequent lifting and carrying of 30-50 lbs. Bending, kneeling, stooping, and other physical labor as needed. Must maintain required vision, hearing, and physical capability to perform essential duties.
