Overview

Ideal Candidates will be positive, professional, and experienced working with kids as well as experienced preparing food with excellence. They will be able to bring their own creative curriculum ideas to fill out Encore's class templates and professional standards. The Encore instructor team loves collaboration and comes with a team-player mindset, modeling excellence and joy to students with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement lesson plans that align with results-oriented goals, process-based whole-person development, and joyful creativity. Teach techniques in the field of your expertise. Provide constructive feedback on student work to help them improve their skills and artistic expression. Be part of center-wide media projects and showcases to display student artwork and celebrate their achievements. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages collaboration, respect, and open communication among students. Collaborate with other instructors to create interdisciplinary projects that enhance the learning experience.

Requirements

Significant track record of successful teaching and working in the field. Strong knowledge of various mediums and techniques, along with the ability to teach them effectively. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels. A passion for creative education and a commitment to fostering culinary joy in students. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to the community.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
