Job Overview

As a CT Technologist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality medical imaging services that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Your expertise in computed tomography (CT) will be essential as you operate advanced imaging equipment, ensuring optimal patient care and safety. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals in a dynamic environment, contributing to the overall efficiency of diagnostic radiology services. Your knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology will empower you to provide accurate diagnostic evaluations while maintaining an aseptic technique.

What you'll do

Operate CT scanners to produce high-resolution images for diagnostic purposes. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine imaging needs. Ensure patient safety by adhering to established protocols and aseptic techniques. Perform quality control checks on imaging equipment to maintain optimal functionality. Educate patients on procedures, addressing any concerns or questions they may have. Document all imaging procedures accurately in compliance with medical records standards. Assist in emergency situations by providing imaging support in urgent care and trauma settings. Stay current with advancements in CT technology and best practices in medical imaging.

Basic qualifications

Must have an ARRT and AZ License for Rad Tech Must have an ARRT and AZ License for CT Must have 1-2 years experience

Pay: $71,000.00 - $96,000.00 per year
