Job Description
Position Summary The Registered Radiology CT Technologist is responsible for providing quality radiographs in the Imaging Department as well as in the OR, the ED and at the bedside.
Essential Functions
- Performs high quality radiographs in the Imaging Department as well as in the OR, the ED and at the bedside.
- Provide radiographic images for the radiologist.
- Assists radiologist with procedures.
- Provides education to patients according to their needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education
- Must be a graduate from an accredited Radiology Technologist program.
Experience
- Previous hospital experience preferred.
Credentials
- Must have a current, valid Wyoming License as a Radiology Technologist and must be in good standing with the Board.
- Must be ARRT Registered.
- Must be BLS certified within 60 days of hire and must maintain certification throughout employment with IMH.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Must maintain CEU credits as required by licensure.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work independently, have the ability to multitask and prioritize work.
- Demonstrates an understanding of radiation and patient safety.
- This position is required to rotate shifts, holidays and take call as assigned by the Radiology management team.
Location: Ivinson Memorial Hospital \xc2\xb7 Catscan
Schedule: Full Time, Rotating
