We are seeking a reliable and experienced Crude Oil Driver to operate various types of trucks and transport crude oil safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving, route management, and vehicle operation, including tanker and flatbed trucks. This role requires adherence to safety standards and proper handling of cargo, ensuring timely deliveries across designated routes.
Responsibilities
Safely operate tractor-trailers, including tanker, flatbed, refrigerated trailer, dump truck, roll-off truck, and other freight vehicles.
Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
Manage route driving schedules to ensure timely delivery of crude oil products.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, routes, and vehicle maintenance logs.
Follow all safety protocols related to transporting hazardous materials like crude oil.
Assist with securing loads and ensuring cargo integrity during transit.
Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly.
Qualifications
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements for tanker, flatbed, or refrigerated trailers preferred.
Proven experience in truck driving, especially with tractor-trailers, freight delivery, or route driving.
Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
Knowledge of load & unload procedures for freight and hazardous materials handling.
Ability to operate specialized equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
Prior experience with dump trucks or roll-off trucks is advantageous.
Strong understanding of safety regulations related to transporting crude oil and hazardous materials.
Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance.
