CRMA to join our team as a traveler/contract employee in providing exceptional care to our residents. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or hospitals, and possess a strong understanding of patient care practices. This role involves working closely with individuals ensuring their comfort and well-being while maintaining high standards of medical documentation and care.
Responsibilities
Provide personal care and assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor residents for any side effects or changes in condition.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Conduct regular health assessments, including taking vital signs and reporting any concerns. .
Engage residents in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive function.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
Ensure a safe and clean environment for all residents by adhering to infection control protocols.
Provide support for families by communicating effectively about resident care and progress.
Skills
Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or hospital settings is essential.
Knowledge of caregiving practices for individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's care, dementia care, hospice care, and senior care is preferred.
Strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy knowledge, and vital signs monitoring.
Ability to administer medications accurately and safely while adhering to best practices in patient care.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
