Role:



We are seeking an Crisis Intervention Therapist (Counseling or Social Work) who embodies our core values of Compassion, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility, Collaboration, and Innovation. The Crisis Intervention Therapist is responsible for providing immediate support and stabilization to individuals experiencing mental health crises within the community. This role involves assessing client needs, advocating for appropriate resources, and fostering connections to essential services. They collaborate with local agencies, schools, and law enforcement to ensure a safe environment for clients, employing best practices in mental health assessment and intervention. Qualifications:



Master's Degree in Counseling or Social Work LCPC or LCSW, licensed to practice in Illinois Preferred Strong ability to assess and stabilize crisis situations effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work well with diverse populations. Experience in advocating for and linking clients to community resources. Ability to manage high-stress situations with calm and professionalism. Possession and maintenance of a valid state driver license and documentation of current insurance coverage. Intermediate skills in the areas of mental health assessment, treatment plan development, and individual, family and group counseling with youth and adults.

Schedule:



Must work 3 days per week, including at least two evening days.

Salary:



Master's Degree and First Level License (LPC, LSW) $51,500-$58,500

Master's Degree and Second Level License (LCPC, LCSW) $60,500-$78,500
