Crisis Clinician- Crisis Stabilization Crisis clinicians provide referral and admission coordination, crisis assessment and intervention or de-escalation of clients admitted to program and necessary safety planning to ensure discharge to appropriate supports and services. Crisis Clinicians also provide essential milieu and staff support to enhance group and individual short-term treatment and support utilizing evidence based and best practices. ASSIST is a short-term, residential crisis stabilization program supporting adults who are at risk for or experiencing a mental health crisis. Through the provision of intensive supports and services and the mobilization of community and family resources, we prepare individuals to maintain safety, stability and engagement within their communities during and beyond the crisis period. The Bridge Program provides a supportive and safe place to detox for individuals ages 18 and older who are experiencing problematic alcohol, opiate, or stimulant use. Utilizing best practices in withdrawal management, the Bridge Program provides monitored and supervised withdrawal care, support groups, and relapse prevention planning, empowering individuals to take the next step toward their recovery goals. Responsibilities:
  • Assess and categorize the urgency of in-coming referrals to determine which program or level care and service response will best meet the client\'s needs
  • Coordinate care with hospital staff, crisis staff, or providers
  • Determine need and manage workflow related to admissions/discharges and overall residential workflow , following program protocols related to safety and utilization of resources
  • Provide in-person assessment or intervention services to individuals/families identified as being in mental health crisis
  • Risk assessment, safety planning, substance abuse screening
  • Navigate mental health system of care and make referrals to appropriate supports
  • May be called upon to provide assistance in postvention, or local/regional disaster or tragedy community response
Requirements:
  • Master\'s degree in a related field
  • Valid driver\'s license and use of a personal vehicle
  • Clinical license or on the roster of Non-licensed Non-certified Psychotherapists
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours
  • Ability to work in a high stress environment, prioritize multiple tasks and navigate the system of care across populations
Structure:
  • Full Time
  • Exempt
  • Salary starting at $ $56,850.52
