Popeyees is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Crew Members to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced food service environment, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests. Ideal candidates will have a passion for food, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented setting. Prior experience in food preparation, POS systems, or restaurant operations is a plus but not required; we provide comprehensive training to help you succeed.

Duties

Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas, including bussing tables and cleaning equipment Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, managing cash register operations with basic math skills Assist with food safety practices, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures Support team members during peak hours by managing multiple tasks such as serving, food prep, and cleaning Ensure quick service delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and safety in a fast-food or quick-service restaurant environment

Requirements

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or retail environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and good communication abilities Basic math skills for cash handling, POS transactions, and retail math calculations Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting typical of quick service & fast food restaurants Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends; previous experience with cashiering or serving is advantageous A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and eagerness to learn about the food industry
