You will be responsible for various tasks within the restaurant, including food preparation, cash handling, and maintaining cleanliness. Responsibilities

Provide friendly and efficient service to all customers, ensuring their needs are met promptly. Operate cash registers accurately, handling transactions and processing payments using POS systems. Assist in food preparation and presentation, adhering to food safety standards and guidelines. Maintain cleanliness of the food area, including dining spaces, kitchen equipment, food prep areas and restrooms. Engage with customers to promote menu items and upsell additional products effectively. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Manage time effectively to balance multiple tasks while maintaining high service standards. we work with raw chicken; Cleanliness is a must.

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash registers and basic math skills for accurate transaction handling. Experience with Heartland POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle busy periods in the cafe environment. A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
