Responsibilities

The Credentialing Specialist is responsible for provider credentialing duties. As a Credentialing Specialist you will:Gather, track, and process newly-hired provider's credentialing documents Maintain practitioner credentialing / re-credentialing documentation Submit and oversee provider background checks with approved vendor Request, maintain, and terminate practitioner malpractice insurance coverage Responsible for state fingerprinting requirements Assist in auditing delegated credentialing functions

Qualifications

Qualifications

Two or more years of experience working in a managed care, hospital, or medical office environment Two or more years of experience of provider multi state credentialing Proficient understanding of multi-state provider licensure, certification, collaborating agreements Proficient in Microsoft Office

USD $31.00/Hr.
