Overview:
Atlantic Health System is seeking a part-time 15.0 hour/week Creative Arts Therapist II for Oncology Services department at Morristown Medical Center. Responsibilities:
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements a art therapy program for patients and their families to help meet their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs.
- Completes a comprehensive assessment and develops a plan of care in cooperation with the interdisciplinary team.
- Monitors patients response to the therapeutic artinterventions.
- Documents evaluation findings, treatment goals ,treatment plan, patients progress and response within 24 to 48 hours of the visit.
Minimum Education:
- Masters degree in Art Therapy from an accredited college or university is preferred.
Minimum Experience:
- 1 years experience in field, previous experience with cancer or in health care setting desired.
