Crane Operator Responsibilities

Operate cranes under general supervision to lift and position formwork, rebar, and equipment. Work closely with team members to ensure smooth operations, responding promptly to hand, radio, or visual signals. Adhere to all safety regulations, procedures, and company standards. Complete

Job Safety Analyses (JSAs)

and

lift plans

prior to crane operations. Review work schedules, verify required supplies, and ensure compliance with

PPE requirements

before beginning tasks. Perform all required

safety checks

on equipment in accordance with procedures and company policy. Conduct

daily inspections

and complete

preventative maintenance

checks on crane equipment. Operate cranes in a safe and efficient manner at all times. Collaborate with

riggers and truck drivers

to hoist materials and loads using radio, hand signals, or other approved communication methods. Perform additional tasks as needed to support overall project success. Maintain

regular and reliable attendance

. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Physical Requirements

Ability to

stand for 10-12 hours per day

and

lift up to 50 lbs

as needed. Comfortable

climbing ladders, steps

, and

working on lifts

. Willingness to

work outdoors in varying weather conditions

for extended periods.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
