Position Overview:
We are looking for a CPA with
5+ years of hands-on tax preparation experience
, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to manage individual, trust, and business tax engagements. Experience with
CCH Axcess Tax
is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review individual (1040), fiduciary (1041), and business (1120, 1120-S, 1065) tax returns.
Manage a client portfolio using
CCH Axcess Tax.
Conduct tax research and provide clear, proactive guidance to clients.
Assist with tax planning strategies and year-round advisory support.
Review workpapers, support staff, and ensure compliance with firm and IRS standards.
Communicate with clients in a timely, professional manner.
Qualifications:
Active CPA license
(required).
Minimum 5 years of tax preparation experience
in a public accounting setting.
Strong understanding of federal and multi-state tax laws.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
