Cove Haven Resort is hiring a Dependable and Consistent Pool Service Technician for the 143-room resort located in Lakeville, PA. Candidates must have a professional appearance and experience in general maintenance and servicing pools. Preferably 1 year of experience in a hospitality service industry.

The ideal candidate will put pride in their work, be reliable, and be friendly and professional at all times.

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.

Principal Responsibilities:

Maintain indoor and outdoor on-property pools, including those in guest suites.

Essential Functions:

Maintain the pool and all water features using proper chemicals and cleaners Maintain the pool pumps and filters Maintain the proper chemical balance for the pool Maintain the pool area to including cleaning of the deck and other maintenance tasks Respond to work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner

In addition to these essential functions, the Pool Technician must be able to constantly walk and stand. Technicians are also required to adhere to safety and security procedures that are set forth by the company.

Specific Skills and Abilities:

Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, bend and crouch on a regular basis Capable of lifting heavy weights of up to 50lbs Knowledge of pool maintenance chemicals and equipment

Qualifications:

Education

High School graduate or equivalent required.

Experience

Basic experience in pool maintenance.

Licenses or Certificates

Valid State Issued Driver's License Required. Ability to obtain any government required license, permit, or certificate. CPR Certification and/or First Aid Training preferred.

Grooming

All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available).

Other

Must be 21 years of age or older. Additional language ability preferred.
