Job Description
The Platte County Circuit Court has an opening for a Traffic Court Clerk to perform a variety of clerical and supervisory duties primarily relating to the processing of traffic tickets and courtroom work for the Traffic Division, as well as warrant call duty.
The potential candidate should have knowledge of court procedures and legal documents, laws and legal terminology. Potential candidate should be prepared to work in fast paced environment while in Court and to pay strict attention to detail. Additionally, they should have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others, as well as maintaining positive interaction with the general public.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Three years of general clerical experience, one year of which must have been in court or law-related clerical work and graduation from high school.
