Job Summary




Assists in the adjudication process for violations filed in Municipal Court with integrity, efficiency, and accuracy, treating each individual with courtesy and respect. Provides exceptional customer service to citizens including providing information regarding Court policies and procedures, data entry, and cash handling related to Automated Vehicle Identification Systems (AVIS) program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities




The following duties and responsibilities are illustrative of the primary functions of this position and are not intended to be all inclusive.

Provides exceptional customer service by assisting telephone and walk-in customers with a variety of information regarding Court policies and procedures Using data entry/computer skills, accepts payments, schedules and changes court dates, processes dismissals or defaulted summonses, updates computer entries and shows video of incident(s) as requested by defendant(s) File completed/paid copies of summonses Following personal service of summonses, make computer entries and file documentation as appropriate Process incoming, outgoing, and returned mail. Directs customers to other courts/offices when appropriate and other clerical duties as necessary.

Experience Requirements



Two years customer service, cash handling and/or data entry experience.
