Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Courier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and safe delivery of packages, ensuring excellent customer service throughout each route. This role requires a strong focus on route driving, load and unload operations, and maintaining the integrity of deliveries. The Courier will operate various vehicles, including box trucks, and may be required to handle warehouse tasks such as heavy lifting and moving items using forklifts or pallet jacks. Prior delivery driver experience and commercial driving skills are highly valued.

Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks with manual transmission, along designated routes to deliver packages efficiently. Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures. Manage route driving schedules to meet delivery deadlines while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups. Assist with warehouse tasks including heavy lifting, moving items, and organizing inventory as needed. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after routes to ensure safety and proper functioning of the vehicle. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation throughout each shift.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or related roles such as warehouse experience or commercial driving. Ability to operate box trucks with manual transmission safely. Experience with route driving, load & unload procedures, and heavy lifting tasks. Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus. Strong customer service skills with professional communication abilities. Physical capability to lift heavy items and perform moving tasks efficiently. Reliable transportation to reach the starting point of routes daily. Ability to work independently while managing time effectively for timely deliveries.

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
