DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a County Casework Supervisor, you will work cohesively with the Psych Rehab (PR) Program by directly supervising our exceptional PR Worker and PR Assistant and overseeing the implementation of our program expectations. You will be responsible to carry out any changes when needed to benefit the program as a whole.

Your role will be to assess and monitor current services and resources that are available to the PR program and provide recommendations to the MH Program Specialist 1. Casework Supervisors are responsible for communication, collaboration, and coordination of services with MH Case Managers, as well as assessing other levels of clinical and supportive services.

County Casework Supervisors are liaisons with mutual support networks and consumer advocacy groups to facilitate understanding and awareness of program goals and resolve conflicts among community groups regarding program activities or service delivery. You will also participate in developing policies, procedures, educational and vocational programing, program planning, service implementation, and training development.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Part-time employment (15 hours/week).
  • Work hours are 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
  • Occasional overnight and out of County travel.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • Two years of professional experience in public or private social work and a bachelor\'s degree with major course work in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and education which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.
