Store Manager

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

The following section contains the primary responsibilities for this position. Job holder is responsible for performing any other duties as assigned by management.

Establish and maintain good relations with customers by providing courteous, efficient, and professional service.

Answer phones and process orders in a timely manner.

Assist other team members when working with customers or finding auto parts.

Stock shelves with product and maintain a clean and well-organized work environment.

Operate a cash register and navigate computer and paper catalog systems.

Maintain a professional appearance as you will have direct customer contact.

Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills in a professional manner.

Works in a safe manner following all safety procedures, rules and regulations.

Comply with all applicable laws / regulations, as well as company policies / procedures.

Actively participates in all safety initiatives.

Utilize and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required or as needed.

Communicate effectively across all departments as needed.

Maintain and contribute to a safe, positive working environment.

Completes required trainings and certifications as instructed.

Performs all other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Automotive Knowledge and/or Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.

Prior customer service or automotive skills preferred, ASE parts certified is a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and multi-task.

Computer skills required, able to look up parts, invoice numbers, etc.

Capable of lifting and moving merchandise of up to 60 lbs.

Able to bend or stoop to floor-level shelves and be able to reach shelves with use of stool or ladder when necessary.

Ability to take deliveries (drive) when needed.

Able to stand, walk or sit for entire work shift.

Ability to travel within the Reno / Sparks area and to rural Nevada.

Warehouse / Stockroom Associate

Reports To:

Warehouse or Store Manager

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Accurately checks, verifies, stocks, and pulls inventory to meet store and customer orders.

Performs daily inspections of appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including but not limited to, pallet jack, hand truck, scanners, printers, and ladders.

Operates warehouse machinery in accordance with established safety procedures as needed to maintain the warehouse stock.

Completes required training and certifications as instructed.

Stays abreast of and complies with hazardous material regulations and procedures.

Assists in maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment at all times.

Comply with all applicable laws / regulations, as well as company policies / procedures.

Actively participates in all safety initiatives.

Utilize and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required or as needed.

Communicate effectively across all departments as needed.

Maintain and contribute to a safe, positive working environment.

Qualifications:

Automotive Knowledge and/or Experience:

One (1) experience auto parts experience

Requires completion of a high school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Communicate effectively through the chain of command.

Work in a positive, productive, and professional manner.

Previous experience in a distribution center and/or warehouse environment preferred.

Must be able to read, understand written/verbal/audio instructions, and communicate (written and verbally) to other team members.

Ability to work with computer scanning equipment.

Must be able to work both independently and in a Team environment.

Ability to lift / carry by hand freight weighing up to 60 pounds several times a day.

Able to push/pull up to 300 lbs. using mechanical aids, such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, barrel dollies, hydraulic lifts, etc.

Ability to bend, twist, squat, climb, push and pull and move at an efficient pace while meeting company standards.
