Airgas is Hiring for a Counter Sales Associate/Relief Driver in Waycross, GA!

The Counter Sales Associate/Relief Driver will act as a Sales Associate for the retail store by selling products to businesses and industrial customers.
Sell industrial, medical, and specialty gases, welding supplies, and related equipment to customers.
Solicit sales from new and existing customers, managing associated paperwork for future reference.
Coordinate cylinder and hardgoods deliveries, maintain showroom displays.
Assist customers with loading/unloading cylinders, provide guidance on equipment use and needed materials.
Monitor and maintain proper hardgoods and cylinder levels to minimize emergencies.
Manage accounts receivable, discussing past-due accounts and collecting payments.
Ensure accurate completion of paperwork, including coding, costing, and pricing.
Periodically deliver products to various business, industrial, and medical gas customers.
Act as Backup Driver when necessary.
Operate equipment like forklifts as required.
Valid CDL with Hazmat endorsement
Previous experience in customer service or sales.
Basic computer skills, along with familiarity in order entry systems.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Analytical thinking to assess customer situations and provide effective solutions.
Skillful handling of cash transactions.
Physical strength to handle loads up to 60 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks.
Willingness to engage in tasks involving climbing, balancing, kneeling, and other physical activities.
Preferred
Familiarity with compressed gases and related products
SAP experience is a plus.
