Job Summary



Processes internal and external customer requests for health information. Analyzes and disperses correspondence upon receipt. Performs other duties as assigned.



Job Responsibilities



Processes requests for health information from internal and external customers in an efficient and accurate manner.



Accurately process correspondence according to guidelines.



Conducts release of information functions.



Meets productivity expectations for Physician Revenue Cycle medical record and correspondence requests.



Completes assigned goals

Description Minimum Required Preferred/Desired



Business related clerical job skills. One year customer service, collections, billing, and/or medical records experience in a physician or hospital billing office setting.







Education

High School Diploma or GED







Training

. PC skills, keyboarding, MS office.







Special Skills



Description Minimum Required Preferred/Desired



Ability to type and/or key accurately and problem solve. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of medical record, billing and collections process. Experience with electronic medical record(s).
