Correctional Officer
Job Description
Dakota Women\'s Correctional and Rehabilitation Center is currently hiring for Correctional Officers.
We have a competitive benefits package that includes the following:
1. Starting rate of $22/hour for day shifts and $23/hour for night shifts
2. With a commitment to stay for 1 full year, you are eligible to receive a $2,500 retention bonus. It will be included in the next monthly payroll that follows the completion of training.
3. Over time is compensated at time and a half
4. Holiday are paid as double time when worked
5. You will earn 8 hrs of sick leave/month and 8 hrs of vacation per month
6. Health insurance starts immediately and for a single or single with dependent, the facility funds the plan at 100%. Family plans cost under $500/month.
7. We also offer dental and eye insurance at a very low cost to you.
8. Our retirement plan is one of the best around, with a facility match of 10% of your annual salary when you contribute 2%
9. We offer a life insurance policy free of charge, up to $50,000
10. Discount for Verizon Wireless and numerous other employee discounts.
11. Meals are provided to you at no cost while you are on shift
